Default RR:Monday Fully Loop

I though I would post this because we had three cool things happen today.First of all Myself,Cowboy (winston),duke777 (chinyu),and artrockpile (art) did a little loop and half way through we had a hiker stop us.He was with a kid who just moved to the area and he had never ridin the loop and wanted directions. So we just said tag along with us.This was his first real bike ride and he did very good. His name is Manny.Well we get back to the court house and chinyu and I decide to show him how to get back where he parked so he could ride the whole trail.Super nice kid!We should have a new member soon, I think he will be there for the Sunday ride. Then on the way back to the court house I saw something I have never in all the times I have rode the loop. There was a train on the tracks, I know no bigge, just have never seen one on the tracks.Plus on our second loop I was talking about how at Gus Grissom there used to be two little girls that used to sell fresh Squeezed Oj on the loop and I had not seen them out there in awhile. Sure enough we get to gus grissom and there they are. So we bought 6 cups of oj, man was it good.
Fun day

Oh and just to add I rode the bighit and forgot how much of a beast that thing is. Point is, l8 apeks ( sean) Wife rode that bike on her first mountain bike ride. No wonder she was so tired.

Most schools are off this week because of spring break, that might explain why they're back on the loop selling oj.

Ah Danny, if I would have known about those girls selling the OJ, I would have done a second loop!

It was a pleasure riding "The Loop" with you, Chin Yu, Winston, and Manny -who hopefully will join STR soon, as he did really well, especially considering it was only his second MB ride! This was my first time riding the infamous Fully Loop, and in all honesty, it was a LOT more fun than i'd imagined it would be... fun singletrack, a few short steep climbs to power up, a plank crossing, a bit of 'extra credit, and even a mini "Happy Ending" downhill. Those waterbars are perfectly set on the descents for launching off!

Haha...no worries...this track and the lake track is the same one. I've seen train at both locations but they go very very slow.
