Chula Vista/Bonita Sunday Ride

Hello, as usual we have our Sunday ride coming up down here in Chula Vista/Bonita. There are usually multiple groups of varying skill level, so you can find something right for you. We meet at the Performance shop on Bonita Rd. at 8:00am, there is a coffee shop for your pre- and post-ride caffeine and snacks. Hope to see some STR folks make it out. There are a lot of trails down here that are mostly unknown to the SD MTB community, come down and check them out. Later.

Is this ride single-speed friendly?

I really can't answer that for you. There are some pretty steep climbs in places.

I can - everything is SS friendly.

haha, my bad - my question should be rephrased as "is the ride okay for a newbie, single-speeder.

I can't remember seen any ss rider on Hoser's group, we have a very good ss riders that rides with the Bonita Bikers (mellow group) but it will all depend of the wish trail and what group you decide to ride with.

next couple of weekends are out for me, but you guys outta set up something other than the sunday ride (like saturday for example -- yes, there's a whole other day in the weekend ).

we'll all drag our ss's and our a$$es down there!

We can do the Otay Lakes loop, is a nice 20 mile SS friendly with mostly single track, is a ride mixing Upper and Lower Otay plus Otay Valley, again is the perfec SS if done at a good pace will be a lot of fun.

How about Saturday April 28 are you back then?

Yo Darryl I'm out, going snowboarding before it all melts in Mammoth.

Greg, have a good weekend with the family. I have been thinking about the route I want to take. I would like to include a bit of everything, although I really want to climb up Rockhouse West.
