Are there any trails there? I rode around up there a while back. Bushwhacking is a more accurate term. I didn't look too hard, but I didn't see too many trails without going across the fence.

3:20 today? I might have to play hookey if I can swing it.

Yes right behind the Moulton Meadows Park soccer field it is a bushwack but I like tight trails. It quickly opens up to an old fireroad. I turned around on a hill that looked down on the Albertson shopping center in South Laguna. From there it gets way steep. You can go down into Aliso Creek Canyon and come out by the water treatment facility or down that steep section you see from PCH at the top of Wesley Street. There are a few bike tire marks up there but mostly people walking there dogs. Did not see any trail signs up there and I am not sure if it County Park or Laguna open space.

Check it out here http://local.live.com/ the resolution is much higher than Google Earth.

I was gonna ask if you saw "the whistler" but he is usually spotted near or around the bottom of CHOLLA...I noticed you didn't go in that direction though.

Hey OCRIDER, how was the new SS?

Great ride guys - quick but very fun. Thanks for showing me around. I'll have pics up soon - didn't come out as well as I hoped.

side note: took me almost 2 hours to get back to long beach

No problem. But really - you deserve that new bike. Good rider and even better person. I'm sure anybody who has ridden with you would agree.

Although technically you should be thanking the people who have supported the affiliates and advertisers on the site - cause that's where the funds came from

Thanks for posting the pics George!

Glad you enjoyed the ride. It is always fun showing people around at Aliso. It is not the most exotic locale, but I dig it.

Sorry to hear about the brutal commute home....
