Default RR: SSan Clemente SSingle Track

Well Actually ended up at home this afternoon after work and decided that once the day was done I was going riding,,, Still working on getting back together with my SS so we headed off to SCST and had a fantastic time.

Parked at the Dog park and this is where paradise starts

There was a lot of green around as I dropped in and continued loving life

I did notice that the ground was drying out a bit

and things were starting to change colors again

But I was able to find enough beautiful single track to keep this old man grinning from ear to ear

Also seeing a lot of NO track... where the long grass is starting to lay over the trail from both sides and if not for the mustard you would never know where to go. So I spent a good part of the day having absolutely NO idea what to expect form my rigid steed as we rolled through the long grass that was showing the signs of a dry summer to come.

Someone spent some time on DeeZee bridge(or the bridge that got the best of DeeZee one evening) it is amazing...Thank you

I still found more ST as I continued down the canyon crossing a couple of dirt roads and ending up climbing the most amazing set of switch backs on a loop at the very end. It was at this point, as I rounded on of these steep sharp switchbacks standing on my SS that I realized that I can not part with this bike, she is staying ( Burner, it took 4 rides not 3, but thanks) at least for now. the loop sent me back to the bottom of what would have been the second fire road that I crossed on my way down the canyon. Here I decided that I had taken enough form this beautiful canyon, and it was time to pay the tab, so I aimed up the fire road, stood up on the new eggbeaters and paid the bills all the way back up to the car...

Places like San Clemente are the reason SS were invented!

It should be illegal to run gears out there!

DeeZee's bridge....LOL

1TrackMind and I will need to build a sign at the start of your bridge DeeZee.

"DeeZee Was Here" with an arrow pointing down into the creek bed.

LOL, that is just awesome.
