El Moro: sat. morning

Matt (intensekipp) and I will be riding El Moro tomorrow morning @ 9. I haven't been here in ages even though it used to be my favorite spot.

I don't want to commit either way, but I'd like to make it if I can.

I might be down for this. There is a chance I might hit Oaks though. I'll decide later on tonight I guess. I wanna ride some technical stuff, do some small hucks and what not.

Haven't exactly determined meeting spot, up for suggestions though. Lot would mean $10 for parking tho . . .

I was planning on riding EM/LC tomorrow from the EM parking lot around 7:30.

Was going to zig-zag through the parks for around 24 miles with a mid-ride break at Deidrich's.

Possible route: might change it on the fly
Up No Dogs
Down Ticketron
Up Deer Canyon
Down Rattlesnake
Up Moro Canyon to Fenceline/or Up ITIC to Moro Ridge
Out gate 12 into LC, then Right on Bommer Ridge
Down Emerald
Up Old Em
Right on Bommer Ridge
Down T&A (Laguna Ridge)
Laguna Canyon Road to Deidrichs on PCH (caffene break)
Up Boat Canyon to Bommer Ridge
Back to gate 12
Down Moro Ridge and BFI back to the parking lot

If anyone's interested, I'll be parking right around 7:15 am for a 7:30 start.

There were 4 of us today: Craig(calepic), Lance(telexopomis), George(LBmtb) and myself. Dino came late but still didnt miss much cause we all got some tasty sandwiches in CDM.

From the El Moro parking lot the route was:
Up BFI then along Moro Ridge (i think)
Then we dropped into a new singletrack(forgot the name) and this led us to the bottom of Old Emerald. The new trail was very narrow with sharp. We got a little scraped up from bushwhacking.
Up Emerald Canyon and back into El Moro along Missing Link and Fenceline and down into Rattlesnake and back out to the cars!

coool ride but now I'm without a bike.... The seals busted in my Talas and oil was leaking

So I should have my bike back by wed/thurs

Sooo good ride today!! If my computer is right the mileage should be around 15.4

Great ride today guys. Good job Dino shaking off that beer buzz to catch us at the end of the ride! Great guy that he is, he even provided the post ride bevies. To the couple practicing a little trail love on Fence Line - Sorry for the interruption.

Kipp-Sorry to hear about what will feel like eternity with no bike! Don't forget the ol'kona hardtail I have in my garage as well. It is a decent ride but it will make you appreciate your full susser.

And is that what those people were up too? Were they un-clothed when you guys came across them? I didn't think I was that far behind!

Matt, I have an '03 Z1 FR SL fork 130mm you could borrow from me if you want. Only problem would be getting it from me since I probably won't see you this weekend. Just know that I'd be willing to let you use it if you want to. Was it just the cost of the PUSH upgrades that made you decide not to go that route? Well give me a call if you want to use my fork.

We were there yesterday to. Rode up from LCW, up Willow to Bommer, Fenceline, down Rattlesnake, up ITIC to El Moro, then back on Bommer and down T&A. The weater was fantastic for the climbing, but a bit chilly when you stopped. Here's some photos of our ride.
