Come ride with Chewyeti (Aaron), onlyontwo (Andy), and I at Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park.
Where: Park at the Bank Of America located here. When: 9 AM, roll by 9:15 AM hopefully Thankfully Andy knows the park so he can guide us to the good stuff. Sycamore has lots of singletrack, stream crossings, short climbs, and all around fun trails. Nothing too technical as far as I've seen. We will probably ride for a few hours and get in around 20 miles. No official route is planned, just planning to have fun. |

No problem Gene. When we rode there on Monday I immediately thought that it would be a good place for a newbie ride where everyone would have fun.

Which way did he go?

Oh sure - now I'm off the bike for a while you come out.
PM Reed (Reedster) or Oz (Omarandsara). They ride there all the time and have a great route that takes you through Little Moab,Terry's Wall and Fenceline. Team Dirty Work rides out there at 8am every Saturday. http://www.teamdirtywork.com/ When I get some free time, I'll take you guy's up to Box Springs Park and have some real fun. BTW Sam, the Juicy's are working great. I tore them down, replaced all the seals and put them on the SS 29er. Thanks! Greg

I'd rather be climbing...

I'll be there.
I plan on bringing the full squish just in case. But, on the off chance that anyone reads this before the morning, let me know if it is fully rigid SS friendly. I've never ridden Sycamore...

Dan, there are some rocky descents that I wouldn't want to do on full rigid. The trails are mostly smooth, but not like CHSP. I rode there Monday with my Air 9 and had a blast.

It is also a great place for the singlespeed and rigid is fine too. Andy (Onlyontwo) rides it frequently on his SS, but I would bet he has his squishy tomorrow. Enjoy. ~R |
