Perfect. That's why I have 2 earplugs. One for each of you that will be on either side of me.

Us as well. I drove home to Woodland Hills (about 3 hours) after doing it solo in Jan 07 and I thought I was gonna die. Now we just stay the night and have a relaxed morning and get outta Dodge mid-morning. Home by noon.

Camping is fun in June.

Camping is doable in November.

Motel 6 in T'town is fantastic in January.

Dood. (Car) Camping in November was cold cold cold.

I might add that Jason has an awesome catering company that works the event. The breakfast I think is all you can eat pancakes. But the pulled pork sanwiches and Chili during the day absolutely rock. I believe they stay the night and will be around Sunday morning serving breakfast.

We'll on the snoring issue, you all will be very happy to know that I will be sleeping in my camper (with the AC on) because I too snore. Loud enough that Neil may end up sleeping in your tent (Just like at Hurkey Creek).

Yeah, brittle at best. M6 is better, methinks.

That would be R&R Catering. Good guys. They are very nice, and they like Willie a lot too -- they always say hi to him like they've always known him. Feels like fam.

You said pulled pork.

Remember that soloists get to throw the EZ-UP's along the course just past the timing tables.
Duos,3 person, 4 person and 5 person teams wait at the appropriate "hand off" area.
The last thing a solo rider wants to do is wade through a bunch of bodies/chairs/coolers/tents just to grab a bottle or some food...I have had to do that and I don't likey, especially after it heats up.
Hope that helps!

Default Double D'oh!

Ah, yes. Thanks for pointing that out, Neil. I had forgotten about that since Willie and I have been going solo, so we could basically set up anywheres.

So, worm up, teamsters -- Neil is absolutely right.

Will anyone have enough room to share an EZ-up space? I don't have my own, and I'd love to be able to have a place to chill if I take a break! Let me know!

I'm about 70% for this race. I'll be doing it solo. Probably just be me. If I make it you are welcome to pit with me. I'll have an ez up and a table.

FYI - if camping in lower merlot get a site with a big oak tree....you
will thank me later. We had sites 239 and 240 for the 24 hr race last
weekend and the HUGE oak on 239 was perfect. It is going to be blazzin
in June. Vail also had special rates for the race...tent sites were only $35
a night.

Since you rode La Ruta last year, do you really need to train?
