Anybody ride around here. I was looking out my window at Casino Morongo and looks to be some killer riding in those hills there below San jacinto. I was wondering if there is access to some fire roads within riding distance of the casino. Also what about the other way to the east or is that reservation land?
I should look at a map but thought I'd ask here first. ![]()

it's indian country homie and i think you might run into trouble riding on somebodys land. tribal jails are not a good place to be , but you can chance it if your a fast rider and can out ride the tribal federallies.

You could drive up to Idyllwild and ride Hurkey Creek. Otherwise, Mike's got it nailed - stay off Indian land. They REALLY don't take to strangers on their land.

So that's indian land on the san Jacinto side of the casino also. Thanks. I thought the Indian land was only to the east. I've done idylwild many times. looking for something that starts in the valley and climbs up.

The reservation pretty much runs from the weight stations on the 10 to somewhere right around Whitewater if I remember correct. It's been about 10 years since I lived down there so I might be off just a little bit - but not by much.
Sorry man.

You can go into palm springs, some goooooood riding over there ala art smith and the palm canyon trail. Cindy whitehead, hahn buena vista, the goat trails, all great stuff.

Big difference between AZ and Ca tribes. AZ tribes seem to welcome you with open arms whereas the CA tribes only want you at the casino's or nowhere at all.
