Dville Daily Stoke Day TWO:

Because the weekend is just as much about drinking beer as it is riding bikes.

So the Yuba shuttles are sold out when everyone else has booked them (12 and 5 pm)? Crap. My ignorance I guess. I didn't know it would fill up already.

Okay, serious question.

What bike(s) is everyone bringing?

Well of course the Niner is going!!

I might also bring a bike that has a bit of suspension on it as well. I'll see how the car packing goes.

2007 RFX with a Zoke 66 (33.86 lbs). It is only 3.5 lbs heavier than my RIP so why not.

I hear Downieville is hard on tires what tires are you running may be the better question. 2.4 Big Betty front, 2.4 UST Fat Albert rear.

Do we have room for more bikes??

Dean - If I'm on the Enduro it'll be Neve's 2.35 as always!!

I'm just concerned about using the Enduro on our ride on Saturday. It'll be brutal.

I have a 4 bike hitch rack and Mike's van holds 3 on the roof, so that's 7 on the van. If you bring your 4 bike hitch rack, we can put that on the Arrrrrrrr Vee and carry at least 11 bikes total, not counting what we can load inside the van.

Allison & Justin -

What have you gotten yourselves into

Once you both stay in an RV your never going to want to sleep on the ground again or in a hotel for that matter! It is soo nice to use your own potty, shower, fridge, stove, zero outside weather and list could go on for-ever.

Be Ready to shop for a camper upon your return from D-Ville

I would be willing to bet that someone will be organizing some self shuttles though. We did one last year and it worked out really nice.

Don't get bummed out!

I grew up camping in RV's (21ft, 28ft - C Class, and then a 32?ft 5th wheel). We know how nice it is

I don't mind camping so much... but we have definitely talked about getting a small toyhauler. Once the CC is paid off perhaps!

Call Dville Outfitters?

Other than that, what about 12:30, 5:30? Nothing around the times is even close?

We wound up with somewhat off times last year, but it wasn't too much of a biggie. We self-shuttled on Saturday.

Dan and are changing our RSVP to 'no'. He's finally got a lot of work at work (even surveying is taking a hit in this economy) and I have a new summer job starting 6/23 (gotta put on the happy-teacher-face and be ready).

We're gonna miss a good time, but we are trying to prioritize right now. Enjoy and have one for us
