Bionicon, Yeti and maybe Rocky Mtn will be there with Demo's. So there will be some bigger bikes around, if your don't have your own by then.

If I go that's what i'll be doing.

Maybe a Slayer or Golden Willow is in order. We will have to see.

Last year it was pretty small. Justin rented a bike in town on his own.

Bionicon had a few bikes up there and he said he wanted one Friday night, so he was over there early to get one to use!

Justin brought his Niner (aside from the Socom, the only bike he had) and it sat in camp all weekend. He rented an SX Trail from one of the shops on Friday for a run, and Saturday he rode a Bionicon.

This time around I think we'll do 1-2 shuttles on Friday, and hopefully an all day adventure on Saturday that may or may not require a shuttle. I need to do some research there.
We always do 2 runs at least one of the days!
Then we try to do Chimney Rock. It's an epic xc with a blow-out down hill on fast but too short Empire Creek trail. It is HOT!! Hopefully the moto's won't have torn it up! And it's so back-country....IMO!
Also have always wanted to do Graegle but that's a point to point I think!!
Anyway, these aren't hints,ok? (hinthint)

It would be a fine thing to carpool. I'm guessing that driving my diesel F250 up will be $300 or more. I can carry four comfortably, with bikes and gear in back.

471 miles one way... TDI is getting about 53 MPG if driven nicely on the highway, about 9 gallons one way at $4.35 a gallon these days. About $100 in fuel for the trip. Mammoth Bike park passes are on sale now for $180... maybe I can squeeze in some downhill at Mammoth on the way home.

I may just do this.
