I'd say probably 4lbs? It's heavier than your 575.

The campground is gonna be HELLA crowded!

Yep, Neil got one too....

What I heard from last year, Kyle (K-max) had reserved all the sites and everyone kicked in a few bucks to camp. I don't belive they any any problems. Was there any

Hopefully it stays nice and easy, like last year.

Kyle requested everyone on MTBR reserve what spots were available (as in offered for reservation online) about a month or so ago. So, we should have the campground basically to ourselves.

Pretty sure there were more than 2 tents/cars per site in most sites, but I don't believe there was ever an issue. The ranger, I believe, was mostly concerned that we picked up after ourselves and left the campground in good shape when we left.

I was of course joking - Any and all are welcome as long as I have a place to park the tent trailer my buddy is hauling up and I'm able to pass out in said tent trailer.

I'm pretty sure after about a day or so on the other site, We had reserved all the sites open to reserve. I think there's like 2 or 3 that are 1st come 1st serve though, but Kyle usually gets there on Wed.

Oh this is going to be fun

There are no campsites to reserved, but to answer your question, no, you do not need to do so.

Steph - the idea was to reserve the entire campsite, for the event. That's why there are no more sites to reserve. Everyone is sharing (NorCal thing)

Once the weekend gets going Kyle, Andy & Neil will make sure that everyone who paid to reserve a site will be compensated for reserving for the event.
We'll have plenty of room in our site too!

Are big bikes recommended for Downieville or is my hardtail going to survive this trip?

I suck at writing sometimes, sorry about that.
