SCST - Fun Friday..with beer afterward!

My last Friday of Spring Break is Friday, March 28th and I want to ride! A buddy of mine and I were planning on cruising the SCST for up to 20miles followed by liquid refreshment at Pizza Port afterwards. We have no designated route as we've only been there once. Come join us explore, lead, or just hang for a brew or two. Help us enjoy Spring Break the correct way....on the bike and with beer!

According to Geoladders, San Clemente Singletrack is about 5.5 miles long......is this the same as SCST?

Yep that's the same route. You do it forward and backward twice though .

What time?
We'll have a group of 4-5 leaving at 11:30am for a 10 mile loop. Not doing any of the route from geoladders.

To be perfectly honest...I've spent some time in that mud myself.

Oops...didn't put time...8:30-9:00am. No specific route, but meet at the park just outside the trails. ...just explore, have fun, have beer!

Hey Kevin, I had a great time today at SCST, followed by Pizza Port. Met a friendly local named Cliff on an Intense 6.6, near the bottom, who rode up and out with us to show the way. Grass was high, picked up a few ticks, but a good time was had by all. The new bridge was great. Need to go back and explore more. Parking at Steed Park is free and convenient, but we paid by coming back uphill in the mid-day heat. I'm not sure why more people don't park on Cristianitos and ride uphill in the cooler morning, then downhill to the car. I think I'll do that next ride. Have fun!

So its 8:30-9:00 @ Richard Steed Sports Park end of Avenida La Pata next to the animal shelter?
I'm in a Blue Xterra with A Smoke Epiphany.
Oh and I assume there is Solid Refreshment at the Pizza Port as well

I'll be there, I have the day off. I've been wanting to do this ride for some time. Don't know how long I can stay for the post ride festivities.

will be in a VW bus! I have a Silver Flux and my buddy has a Fisher 29er (silver I believe). Leaving in about 10 minutes for the long drive from home! See everyone/anyone there!
