Default LPQ contracts Hantavirus

Did anyone see this story? I guess you're ok as long as you don't sniff rodent droppings or drink their urine

From the CDC website:

Rodents shed the virus in their urine, droppings, and saliva. The virus is mainly transmitted to people when they breathe in air contaminated with the virus.

When fresh rodent urine, droppings or nesting materials are stirred up, tiny droplets containing the virus get into the air. This process is known as "
aerosolization."

So it can be spread through the air (dust kicked up by mtb tires?) I think I'll be staying out of the tunnels for a while...

By the way, I also read that hantavirus has been detected in 48 states...so it's not 'new' to California...just maybe to LPQ?

Rodents will be hiding in the bushes...you may not see them but they are there.

when the infected rodents mutate from the virus they turn into 2 headed turtles. i found this one hiding in my camelback. thought he had a free ride back to civilization to unleash his carnage.
