Default is this possible?

Does anyone know if this is possible?
Up Holy Jim
Around Santiago peak
Down Joplin to Old Camp
Half way down STT to the Fire road that leads down towards the "Joplin Boys Camp"
Out Trabuco Canyon to HJ

Probably would have been, but everything north of Santiago Peak to just before Eagle is closed due to the fires. Which kinda puts the kibosh on the whole Joplin idea...
Don't know about that road by the Joplin juvy though-think i remember reading someone rode it and got hasseled by the guards out by there or something...might be thinking of somewhere else though.

I thought it was everything North of Modjeska peak that was closed, so I figured you could drop in to Joplin before the closure.

I have pretty much done that ride. We went down the Luge instead of Rose Canyon AKA Lower Joplin. Lower Joplin is fun from what I remember. It's been like 5 years. That is a super good ride. I love Joplin. Here is hoping that Joplin is open to us again soon.

One of my prize posessions is an old Joplin trail sign. It was given to me long after it had been replaced.

Even if everything north of Modjeska is closed.....Old Camp/STT is still on the closed list.

Thats a pretty elaborate screening process they make you go through just so you can lend a hand. A little too much if you ask me.

STT should have been listed as well. I notified Debra Clarke of the FS and let her know. There are signs posted at the gate on Modjeska Grade Rd that indicates it's closure.

Not really J. It was explained to us during the orientation why the tough screening. I just completed my screening process which included online application, live scan finger printing(paid by Adopt a park) and about a 2 hr orientation. Just waiting for my badge to arrive in the mail so I can start to patrol some of the OC parks like Aliso, LCWP, O'Neill, Santiago Oaks and Whiting Ranch when it opens. I was originally going to patrol Whiting for SHARE as a Trail Assistance Volunteer before the fires. I'll get a T.A.V. jersey and free parking.
