Seems like most everyone runs clips and does some serious cross country runs. I'm looking for the clipless MTB orphans out there. Freeriders from Hollywood, North Hollywood and Burbank clue me in! Where's the fun runs? After work at Tampa Land?

You are correct sir! Platforms, flats is what I was talking about. I'm sure I'll get some "clip ins" eventually for those epic long rides. Hell, I don't even own any lycra! :P .... But right now, I'm just getting a clue and having some fun. I was at "the Whoops" Sunday. Love it. Want more like it.

Well it depends what you're looking for. Are you an accomplished jumper? history of BMX?
there is a lot of gnarly freeride to be found if you know where to look (hucks, jumps, ladders, etc). if your focus is DJ im sure someone can help you out with some locations

No, I suck. Newbie. Just getting into it. I like doing freeride more than long cross country. Hits and jumps are fun and a challenge right now. Trying to get some mad skillz yo! Actually I'd be happy with controlled air. Throw me some names of runs around LA. I'll look 'em up.
Thanks!

So since you're a newbie I'm gonna guess you weren't doing can-cans off the bigass doubles at the whoops right?
Hmm... anyone else want to chime on on local spots? The only ones I've been to are Kenter and one other that I can't talk about. Not sure where some newb-friendly jumps can be found.

LOL ... Nope. Not yet. But I did do a back flip ... by accident (kidding).
Tell me the secret spots and I'll be sure to tell the Medivac helicopter to turn off it's lights when it picks me up so no one will know where the place is. :P
