No. When I went last week, I just paid my $5.00.

They do requiere a membership, they dont always check for it when your just practicing

Their website says 1 year ABA membership $45.00

yeah kind of lame or i think theres a 1 time free thing you can do or a week membership. All the aba sanctioned tracks have the membership requierment for insurance purposes

Yea, I don't think they worry about the membership for the practice. I was there last week and I paid my $5 and rode the track with no problems.

I might try it again. I'll have to wait and see how I feel.

At the Orange Y, if you pay for a membership you get 3 free practices...Plus you get your own # plate, for those times when you really want to race

Troy and I had a great time. I got to try out his Foes 4x bike, very fun!!!

So, I had a much better experience this time around. I put a Small Block 8 on the back and clipless pedals, which made the steep uphills much easier. Next week, I will change the front tire to a Bling Bling (thanks Doug & Troy) and see what happens!!!!
