Default For the shy newbie/lurker

I will let you use my SS or FS bike (if you are my frame size) for the shy newbie/lurker that wants to try out mountain biking!

Anyone? Is it still green in the meadows and if yes, how are the wild flowers in the vernal pools? If it is green with wildflowers I'm a go.

You'd have to hike over there. No bikes allowed on that side of the plateau. I honestly don't know. It was fairly green last time we were out.

Bumpy bump!!! Let's go newbies, lurkers, long time riders! Bring friends, co-workers, brothers, sisters, parents, wife, husband, heck maybe that special someone you were too dang nervous to ask out!! It's a casual ride with many re-groups! Plenty of talk, plenty of fun, and plenty of beer later! I will be calling the Pizza place this week to put in a number!

FYI: My GF will be coming and her kids will be riding around the dirt parking lot area or the first flat loop. If you have kids that wanna hang out until the main group returns from the ride for Pizza/Beer that would be cool as well!

This is a fun ride. If I can get everyone up and rolling early enough then we will be there. Adam likes this ride. Lots or rolling trails, just need to watch out for the big rocks sorry Adam.

Sorry I can't go, broken rib, but for those who are, remember this is a newbie ride and he pace will be as fast as the newest/slowest rider. Perfect ride you to bring a friend that wants to try mtn biking or bring that shy co-worker who shows interest in our sport.

This is about going out and seeing new dirt, meeting other newbs and learning from some of the experienced riders, so come out and join the fun. No pressure! This is YOUR(newbies)ride and hammerheads need to remember that. I wish I could join you all

This route is as *Newbie Friendly* as it gets, like Gene said only as fast as the slowest rider plus the trail is not very tough - some short hills, some short flowy single track. This route was also not very long - It took us 2 hours with tons of stops to talk about what was coming, and some waiting for me

This is not one to miss if your new to the sport, want your wife to try a new trail and or bringing the kids to ride the flat loop.

Scouting out this trail with Ken was my 1st ride back on the bike in 6 months - I had a blast and didn't die

Hope some of you *newbs* make the drive it's worth it!

FWIW: I would consider this a REAL Newbie ride - not a STR social, if your considering this ride and your a regular rider you may not enjoy this ride unless you don't care about several stops and waiting patiently for us slower folk- Ken is NOT breaking this ride into groups.
