great ride, great company. Man, that was one of the wildest riding days ever for me and my buds. Thanks everyone for coming along.

BigHit, great pics. Now at least people will believe my ride story.

FYI: Backwoods BBQ rocks. Food is fantatic.
Like I said earlier, I will never forget that ride. It's embedded in my head like the stinging nettle embedded in my leg.

If the park will let us do maintenance, I'm down to help, I have some sharp hedge trimmers that are screaming for use. Let me know.

Check with the park officials first, they may not want you too.It just depends on who is currently in charge.Sometimes they care if you do,sometimes they appreciate the help. It's that time of the year again for the trails to get swallowed up by the brush.Happens every year except last year, because of the lack of rain.I rode Raptor and Bovinian a week ago Tuesday. The vegetation was getting up there but like Brewmaster said they see more traffic so the trails are a little wider and it makes for more riding and less bush-whacking.In about another week or two though, these trails will also be choked off.If you do ride them make sure you use repellent and check yourself out for ticks!I hate those little bloodsuckers worse than anything except leeches! - Lloyd

I am amazed at the shear size and density of those plants. It was still fun though. At least I know where CHSP is located and what it's all about. Now it's on to the OC.

Thanks for the guided safari.

I rode east fence line a couple of weeks ago from the green river entrance. It was a total blast but the foliage was pretty dense- I can't imagine how tall that s**t is now!!
I'm all for a trail maintenance day- that single track is sweet... then add Bane ridge and raptor and you've got a sweet day of ridin chsp.
