Time for my 2nd Annual St Patrick's Day ride!! WooHoo!!

Saturday March 15th (dress the part)

Meeting at the parking lot on the corner of Jamboree and Chapman (at the Alberson's Parking Lot)-dress the part

12 noon (dress the part)

We ride to the 3 Bitches and up. Over and down Zips and out. This is not a race. There is no official sign up and you are responsible for your own well being. (dress the part)

Come out and have some fun. Dress the part and prepare for some fun!!! Bring what you want or and need. (dress the part)

I have trail work the same day at Aliso with SHARE(a reschedule from FEB 23) I'll work till 11am. Afterall, last years ride was my first STR ride, can't miss out.

The 22nd is the Marshall Newbie ride and the week before, I have Trail Assist Volunteer orientation. March is already full.

Starts off in the fireroad to a fireroad climb. Descent is a singletrack. I would say intermediate with one or two walking sections. The pace will be leasurely. I will be towing a BOB trailer.

What is "Zips"?

Is that the trail that includes the "Chutes" that we rode at the recent demo/raffle at Irvine Park?

This will be my first "real" ride since the helicopter out of Chiquita Ridge. I have an appt.on Tuesday to have my bike fitted- and will do some "woman -sissie" rides on flat trails before I do anything more technical with hills to test it out .
Im not wearing a dress either, but I got some great St Patty's day "flair" - as my son Chris calls it- to decorate myself and my bike with.. Cant wait to ride with everyone again!

Not a far ride at all. It will be a fun ride ride so pace will not be an issue. Come on out and BE SURE to wear green and get into the spirit of St Paddy's Day. See you there.

Coming off the 55 fwy, Take the Chapman exit and go East. You should be going in the direction of the Santa Ana Mountains. Turn right on Jamboree and right into parking lot at Albertson's. You will see a Taco Bell on your left, park there. If you're coming off the I-5, then exit Jamboree and go north, when you hit Chapman, make a u-turn. Turn right into lot.

I'll be doing trail maintenance with Gene at AW too... but will cut out with him at 11 am and join you guys... I need to be around my friends right now and plan on drinking ... alot!
