Default Noble Canyon Sunday @ 7:30am

Ideally, I'd like to get a few people down there and shuttle this a few times. However, I would not be opposed to climbing via Alpe d'Wheez, up Indian Creek, down Noble (avoid Whore) and back to the car, then do a quick shuttle. I'm driving from da OC, so I want to get at least two descents.

Whaddya all think?...Any takers?

This is the one ride I have never done but hear so much about. What time are you thinking? I would be coming from Pasadena. I would definitely be down for multiple shuttle runs but have no idea whats involved.

Thanks

I just heard its about a 3.5 hour drive for me. I'm not going to be able to do this until we turn it into a camping trip.

I know a great place we usually camp at. No reservations required and open camping.

Maybe we should book this. I know a few more STR peeps that would love to do this.

Chime in Frank, Shu and StevieB from the OC.

The mayor was supposed to set up a friendly Noble ride. I wonder what happened.

One day, I will do Noble.

Do you want to climb or shuttle? There will be some of both in the next month or two.

It's all ridable on a 4" travel bike. The only parts I still have issues with is Widow Maker and Stairway. Everything else is very doable.

"Back in the day"....all we used to ride it on was our hardtails, so yeah it's not that bad, but some areas just catch-ya off guard...
It's an intermediate trail mostly

Done it three times (shuttle) and every time I end up dead tired of walking its not my kind of ride.

Well, it is tech challenging to newer riders, but when utilizing the fundamentals, its doable for most skill levels.
