Ladera Ridge-Waterworks 9:00 a.m.

I'll be doing a mellow ride from Canada Vista Park in RSM to Ladera Ridge and Waterworks trails. Meet at 9:00 a.m. This is similar to the SS Lovefest ride, except we will be going down Tijeras Creek trail to start and not up to Chiquita Ridge, which will make it an easier ride, but we'll still get some beautiful scenery and great singletrack.

The route: From Canada Vista Park, we will head down Tijeras Creek trail to Oso Parkway, ride briefly up Oso to the start of the Ladera Ridge singletrack, descend Firehose to Antonio, cross the street to Waterworks, back up to Oso, up Tijeras Creek trail and back to the park.

What is the approximate distance of this ride? how much climbing?

depends if i get back from Toyota in time. If so I know where you guys will be I need to get on the bike its been a week.

Wish I could join you Eric. Only women and sissies head downhill from Canada Vista Park. There too much fun to be had by paying for 20-30 minutes of uphill.

Geesh, that's a little harsh... Some of us like to help the new people get into the sport, too. I guess the final route will be TBD depending on who shows up to ride. Brenda and I certainly don't want to be considered "women or sissies" - we are Dirty Girlz!
