Not really sure why the bridge in the Arroyo would be a factor for you. If I've read correctly, you all are doing the the Lower Sam Merrill/Inspiration Point/Middle Merrill/Sunset/El Prieto loop. The only way the bridge would come into play is if you're doing the gab or looping Ken Burton and even then, there's a way around for hikers and bikes.
