Default AWCWP Trail Work Postponed

Hi all,
Unfortunately, due to the wet conditions the trail work planned for this Saturday, Feb. 23rd is being postponed until Saturday, March 15th. We will be meeting at the Alicia Main Entrance at 8 AM. I appreciate all of the volunteers that have RSVP'd for tomorrow. Please try and make it on 3/15.

We have 2 projects planned. Rock-It Trail (below the large rock garden) has developed a 2 foot deep rut down the center of the trail. We will be working to repair this. We would also like to work on some of the ruts that have developed recently on Meadows Trail. Thanks. Jeff Bartel

That trail is unsustainable and should be re-routed or closed completely. It is way to steep and the geology of that area is not conducive to MTBing.
