Anyone up for a local, daytime, easy spin ride? I'd prefer mtn, but haven't seen what havoc the rain played--possibly an easy spin road (gasp) ride round HB area

I'd like to ride around 9am, as for where, are there any trails open/not too muddy? I don't want to have to clean the mtn bike again.
Otherwise, just a quick little loop down PCH and back

I won't get out of work until 10:30 at the earliest and I'm near downtown LA. Not that familiar with the OC trails.

Wrecker,
Are you still doing the quick road loop? I'm still in if you are and are willing to wait for me. If you're interested in coming to LA, why don't you come up and we can ride Sullivan Canyon? You WILL need to clean the bike afterwards, but at least it'll be a mtb ride. I get out at 10:00 and should be home by 10:30, ready to head out the door by 11:00. You can stop by my house in Downey and we can either carpool or you can follow me to the trailhead. Duc

Great thing about Sullivan Canyon is that it is decomposed granite and rock so no trail damage is caused by us if we're just riding it. It is open rain and shine.
![]() Hit me up anytime you want to ride it on a Saturday. I can do this Saturday afternoon after the trail work at Aliso. If they cancel the trail work, we can do Sullivan in the morning. Duc

So anyone want to join me for a quick loop at Sullivan Canyon in about an hour or so?
