Default Rut's Birthday Ride

Time to celebrate the
15th Anniversary of my 25th Birthday!

Here is the plan...

Sunday, Feb 24th
Park your vehicle at The Tustin Brewery
Ride over to The Path Bike Shop and meet at 12 noon.
From there we take our mountain bikes through Peter's Canyon and Santiago Oaks then back to the Tustin Brewery. This ride will be an easy pace and for everyone (over 21.)

After the ride we celebrate me climbing my hill of life and reaching the summit without too many injuries.

The whole idea of the ride is to assist the homeless women and children of Orange County. There are over 35,000 homeless in OC alone. After the ride I will be selling raffle tickets to benefit an organization called The Village of Hope. All the proceeds will go to The Village of Hope. There will be a rep at The Tustin Brewery for more info.
The Path Bike Shop, Niner Bikes, Switchback Cyclery, Adrenaline Bikes, Banning's Bike Shop, Shimano, Deity and Ellsworth are donating swag for the event. I hope you can come out and help others in need.

See you there!

Argh!!!!! I forgot about Crank Brothers representing as well!!!

Sorry CB!

I'm really hoping it will be nice for the ride, but if it isn't.... well.... I guess we can always just meet at The Tustin Brewery around 3:00 or 3:30. The raffle and festivities should still be fun, right?

Unfortunately I'll be working in Vegas this weekend. Is there any way I can still participate in the raffle or just make a donation as part of your festivities?

Have a great birthday Andy - You're catching up to me.

The ride is over 21, but are the festivities open to all? Ashlie really wants to meet you (at least, that's what I tell her)

I guess I worded that incorrectly. What I should have said was "There will be drinking going on!"

I can't make it, but would love to throw $20 down on the raffle/fundraiser.

Plan B-

If it rains enough to close the parks, plan B would be to simply meet at The Tustin Brewery at 3:00 for an afternoon of fun and good times. The raffle for The Village of Hope will still happen.

thanks,
andy

The parks are officially closed

Several of us are planning on doing an "urban" ride through Tustin. We will probably have a few backpacks with us filled with beverages. We still plan to meet at The Path at 12 noon!

Hope you can make it out!

I gotta mount the new derailleur on my bike and do some adjustments. I'll be there at the brewery around 2ish. See all of you there.
