VQ Training ride...Take two. Sunday 2/24

So, because the rain canceled my ride on Wednesday, I'm going to try this again on Sunday.


The loop is:
SanJuanTrail to Main Divide
MD to descend Trabuco
Up Holy Jim to MD
MD to SJT including the little Old SJT loop
Followed by some beer at the truck.

I will be riding at 8 am sharp. Someone please join me so I will have someone to complain too.

Yeah I know. I'm getting tired of cleaning the mud off all my bikes! The last four rides have resulted in extensive bike cleanings that I only used to due when I lived on the east coast.

I feel you! This morning I went for a short ride here in LB... brutal mudfest. As quickly as the descents would start to clean the mud from my tires, i'd pick up more on the flat and climbs. Sketchy descending with no traction, and at times it felt like I was packing an extra 5-10 lbs. But you know what? It felt awesome to be riding, and I only crashed once.
