Alan and I rode Big Bear yesterday, some really cool singletrack up there. Don't expect everything to be downhill though, there is some climbing involved to get to the good stuff....then more climbing to get back to the lift. 1EO1 "pine knot" is probably my favorite. Cabin 89 is also good....even Coyote/Dick's trail/Town Trail is a fun combo. Upper/Lower falline has some steep/loose/rocky descents which are a good challenge. Trails are pretty loose, dust isn't terrible but goggles would have been nice if you're following behind somebody. Weather wasn't too hot at all and it didn't feel humid either, there was a nice breeze blowing up at the top also.

I still miss bombing down the main SS runs on my Big Hit with a full face and full armor though

Uh-huh, yeah, what you really meant to say was that you really miss bombing down the bike trail on your ScattantGAY wearing your lycra full body suits. \/

Yea, it was pretty fun. Rob was still sick, but he was a trooper and climbed just as much as I did. Pretty much 7 hours of riding. We left my house around 7 and got back after 8. Good times. Cabin is amazing, bombing down single track with a full view of Big BEar Lake, doesn't get much better than that.
