I am bringing the gears. Will that general store be open for us to buy passes at the time we meet?

Just remember when buying a pass it only costs 5 dollars for a second pass. So find someone else that needs one and split the cost. 1 year for 17.50 vs 30.

Default Just called the Oaks

which is the little eatery in the same building,

The Gal said usually they open at 8am, but sometimes it's later.

I suppose the safest bet would be to buy one down here, or ............

just get the ticket and pay the $5.00 dollar fine

I was told by a ranger that the funds from pass purchases go towards maintaining te forest and it's facilities. Money from paying a fine goes towards the state's general fund which the forest service will never see.

I got one that's good till the end of october for $12 if anyone needs one.

Your confidence in me as a leader is very flattering

Joking aside, even though I have never been there and don't know where I am going I will help in whatever way I can.

Weather should be great this weekend. A bit cold in the moring - 40-42, but the days have been well in the high 60's and even an occasional 70 for few hours.

Default Shuttle info

After Talking to Jason (Pugz) today I thought i'd call Dave (29zenmaster ) and asked for a detailed description as to what the shuttlers will be doing (I'm going to help with the shuttling).

2 Groups -

The A group - whole route Angeles Oaks to the campgound and back.

The B group - ride the post office trail, shuttle the 3 mile fireroad out (Dave's Truck). Then drive to the campground meet the A group and ride back down together, maybe splitting into an A group and B group back down as well.

This ride is a 1st SART ride for several, so be ready for some stops along the way

Sounds like a fun day!

Don't forget your radio's if you've got them.
