CHANGE OF PLANS!
WE ARE HEADING TO SAN CLEMENTE SINGLETRACK SO WE CAN ALL RIDE TOGETHER...PLUS I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SOME NEW DIRT!

Weather/Snow update:

We (neil & family) were up there this weekend and it rained all weekend. We drove down the 38 and it was still raining Sunday afternoon. The ski resorts took a big hit! It literally rained for 15 hrs straight. The wind was really warm, the temps never went below 35.

Not much snow left anywhere on the way down.

I'm soooo confused.
The geoladders link shows this as a Santa Ana river trail (all downhill).

Mistake? or simply my ignorance of this route?

That GL's route shows starting at Bar Heart Campground. The SART from BHC to South Fork Campground is a total sand slog feast most of the year. BHC is a big horse stagging area, Although I think it a better campground than Barton.

Not all downhill.
