San Juan Trail + Chaquito falls 2/18 @ 9:30
When: Meeting in the parking lot by Ball Park Pizza off of Ortega at 9:00 (We will be parking closest to Rancho Viejo Rd). Then driving to the San Juan Trail trailhead.
What: The plan is to take the San Juan trail up to Cocktail then take new San Juan and drop down to Chaquito falls before finishing the climb up to Blue Jay. The pace should be moderate. San Juan is without question one of the best singletracks in Orange County. Trail conditions are excellent now as well. Note: This is not a beginners ride. Lots of loose, rocky, sandy and exposed singetrack mixed with miles of climbing. |
