Default Quick afternoon loop at Aliso Woods

Hey sorry for the late notice, but any and all are welcome to join CupLess, Cougar Bait and myself at Aliso Woods for a quick ride.

We'll be starting at the main entrance off of Awma an Alicia Pkwy. across from the Church. Parking is $3.00 in the lot or free on the street. DO NOT park in the church lot.

I figure we'll warm up on the fireroad, head up Coyote to Cholla. From there we can come down Lynx or Rock-it. If there's enough time we can head back up to Cholla and down a different trail. It's all negotiable once we get there.

We'll be meeting there around 12:45 and hit the trails around 1:00. As usual, no one will get left behind. In this case it's more than likely "please don't leave me behind".

Forgot to add: Beginners/Newbies welcome. We will split into two groups if we have to. A beginner group and a more intermediate/advanced group.

Forgot to mention this ride WILL be newbie/beginner friendly. We will have two groups going separate routes possibly. One for the newbie/beginner and one for the intermediate/advanced riders. Hope to see you there.

Default Rock-It

Pato I wish I could ride today. Hope I can be there next time we can ride down rock-it. I have not been down rock-it yet. Hopefully my mom will let me ride it, hopefully she won't make me wear your armour and my full face helmet.

Hope Dino rides down rock-it with us.

i'm gonna try to make this today if my allergies subside.

julia- i'll take you down rock-it anytime. it's not that big of a deal, especially compared to the stuff you've ridden in fontucky (tell mom to take a pill)...

Looks like I'm running a little late. Got stuck at work. I'll be there around 1:30.

on second thought....julia- i might not be the best guide for rock-it. i crashed (possibly pushed by pato) pretty hard on it today. i'm not sure if bike shops even sell butt armor, but it sounds really good about now. and an egg has grown under my elbow- more bizarre than painful...

thanks for posting this, duc. i have only one thing to say to you: vendetta (italian for "watch your butt". and not in that figure skating way).

Dirtvert,

Look at the bright side it's better than cactus on your butt. Does "Cholla" remind you of anything. Those two poor ladies having to pull the out for you.

That's Ed's job. I only tend to women and broken bikes. You must admit, I did come over and pick up the bike to make sure it was still OK rather quickly.

Besides, Ed paid me to push you down cause you were making us look bad out there.

Glad you're OK for the most part. Thanks for coming out and riding with us slowpokes.

thank you, duc. you were just following crash triage protocol: first, ensure the safety of the bike and assess damage; next, if at all possible, document the human carnage with photographs- repeat until satisfied.

cragar- the trails were in great shape, but the park was as crowded as i've ever seen it, which led to way more people seeing me in a fetal position than i would have liked.

el- the only riding i'll be doing for a while will be in the car to the drugstore.
