SD Sycamore Canyon/Goodan Ranch Trail Work

SYCAMORE CANYON/GOODAN RANCH TRAIL WORK – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 8:30 A.M.

Martha's riders - your trail needs you. Between the SWECO and the rains the trail has really taken a hit. Erosion on poorly sited sections of the trail and SWECO tread marks along the entire route need immediate action. There is no better time to work the trail than now while the ground is moist. It is urgent that you come out and give back to the trail.

We'll meet at the main trailhead parking lot at the end of Sycamore Canyon Road, Saturday February 16, at 8:30. From there it's just a short hike to the affected trail. As always, bring sturdy shoes, gloves, water, a snack and eye protection. It wouldn't hurt to wear head protection either so bring your bike helmet too.

This event's main swag is a Shimano crank set. Very nice swag from our generous sponsor. We will only award this if we have 15 workers or more show up. Imagine, a 1 in 15 chance to win a prize worth hundreds of dollars--so RSVP today.

To get to Sycamore Canyon/Goodan Ranch Open Space Preserves take Poway Road to Garden Road on the East side of Poway. From Garden Road take a right when you get to Sycamore Canyon Road. Proceed to the end of the road. See you there.
