Default Big cat sighting in Turnbull.

I was listening to my scanner and a call went out a few minutes ago about a Mt. Lion in a backyard of a home adjacent to Turnbull Canyon. Havent heard anything else though.

Updated to medium sized with spots. Sounds like a Bobcat?

I saw a bobcat at Chino Hills SP this morning on Telegraph towards the Brea entrance. Maybe they're all coming out to play today.

I spotted a large Bobcat on Sunday while climbing BS (in the valley). Maybe they like the warm temps.

Didn't see the posting. I was hoping you guys would be riding early afternoon. The earliest I can get out of work is 1:00, but I'm right around the corner from there.

Have fun out there!

We ran into a bobcat at Chino Hills on Sunday too. It wasn't too bothered by us. It moved a dozen feet off the trail, behind a tree branch and then sat and looked at us. Very cool.

I'm still waiting for my first Mountain Lion sighting.

Again, the mark of a crazy person. Most people would turn on the news or check the internet, not grab a police scanner. Just the fact that you own a police scanner makes you certifiably crazy in my book.

My friend had a scanner a while back, we used to spend hours sitting on his balcony listening to the weirdest sh*t. I kinda want one now. What does a scanner run? Where can I get one?
