Default Chino Hills Saturday 8 am (from Corona Side)

Meet here at 7:45. Be ready to roll by 8 am.

This is not a newbie ride. It will be intermediate in pace, but no one will be left behind!

We'll ride up and across Skully Ridge, down to Lower Aliso, Rolling M, up Southridge to 4 Corners.

From there we will decide if we want to do Bovinian Delight and Southrdige down to Brea and back to 4 Corners.

Either way, we'll finish with going down Raptor Ridge, Sidewinder, Upper Aliso and over Bane Ridge to the equestrian center. From there it is an easy fire road back out with opportunities for short single track sections.

Total mileage should be around 20 miles, give or take.

PDF map of the park.

Here's what you have to look forward to:

Rolling M

Raptor Ridge

Bane Ridge

Bummer Sam. I need to get out there and explore, but I have a training ride this weekend and it can't be moved. The VQ is only weeks away and we finally got the ok to ride the VQ/CC course. Maybe you can take me another time. I still owe you a tour of Aliso.

I was going to mention this as well. I would have loved to ride with you guys at Chino this weekend, but I can't the Adrenline ride this weekend. Besides Neil's ride is going to start at a normal time.

I have stuff going on in the afternoon so I have to ride Sat morning if I want to ride at all. We'll do another one for sure.

Tim and I have talked about a CHSP ride with beer tasting at my place afterwards. Space is limited in our place, so we'll have to see about this one. We'll put something together after VQ/CC.

Any idea what the estimated ride time might be (assuming an "Intermediate" pace)? I have been out there a few times and rode out Lower Aliso to the staging area and did an out and back on Bane Ridge (about 14 miles). I have also done Lower Aliso then the East Fence line from the Camp to Bane canyon back out to Lower Aliso (about 15 miles +-). Average ride is about 2-2.5 hours on those. Not sure how long your route would take... I have plans Saturday afternoon and would love to get a ride in.

you can always bail and back track down the hill?

We are pretty moderate cruise pace... nothing strenous.

That's funny you said that about the bailing part. I was just talking to a friend and I said the same thing. Have to get the OK from the wife to miss the morning activities. Thanks.

I have to be back at my place in Chino Hills by 11 am, so bailing is an option. If you know the park well, and it sounds like you do, you know there are plenty of places to cut out.

We value having fun or keeping a fast pace. Expect to laugh and you may also ride some decent mileage at the same time.

I have never ridden with any of you so I don't know what your "intermediate" pace is and I have never ridden chino hills, but I have been itching to try it out. I drive by there every day and it looks so nice and green! I am about 90% confident I will be there! So....COUNT ME IN!! I will be the one who looks lost
