Default Aliso Woods Trail Work Postponed

Hi all,
Unfortunately, due to the wet conditions the trail work planned for this Saturday, Feb. 23rd is being postponed until Saturday, March 15th. Same time and place. I appreciate all of the volunteers that have RSVP's for tomorrow. Please try and make it on 3/15. Jeff Bartel

Telonics was a hidden little 2-foot wide unnamed trail with no ruts, and you could absolutely rail the section after the waterfall. The rock face on Stair Steps was entirely flat and didn't have a 6-inch groove down the middle. It's harder to notice from one year to the next, but I'm sure there are people here who remember what they originally looked like. On one hand, I love it that our sport has grown in popularity, but it is kind of tragic to see what our trails have turned into. I might be out of town that weekend, but if not, I'll see you on the 15th!

Are way different now. Rockit was called Rock Trail and then someone added an I to the sign and scratched out rail.

There were other cool trails that are now illegal

I had forgotten about that sign. Wow, that is a blast from the past - that goes back to before it was even a park.

Does anyone know if all the trails at Aliso are closed tomorrow due to the rain?

General rule is two day's after the rain has stopped.
I imagine if the trail work was called off, you should hold off from riding in the park.
