John, Ashlie and I should be there......if I can get in to work early, I'll be on time--otherwise I may be a bit late, any penalty for that? If I am early, I may be tired an grouchy

if u guys have more'routine' clinics, in addition to the broad overviews in which u cover a lot of stuff maybe some 'single topic' one like wheel building, replace cables, brake install/bleed, shock/fork repair, etc.

this way participants can really learn and do the work and Tim and the shop can instruct and oversee as everyone is doing the 'work'.

would love to learn to build a wheelset but know left on my own will be a piece of cr@p but if had someone mentoring would probably be a success.

am sure you can make this profitable for u guys as well as certainly parts would have to be purchased, people learn and they get satisfaction of doing while u guys advise. maybe even have a survey on str to see what topics are of interest and organize around most requested ones. n

ot sure how practical but just an idea...certainly something I would be interested in.

irrespective I plan to be there on wednesday. c u guys/gals then

We thought that if we did a once a month clinic for new riders that would work out good....and I am sure that we could elaborate on it and cover one item like wheel building over a few....I have to say...I watched Tim teach himself years ago how to build wheels and it takes a lot of patience and continueing to do it over and over and over to make it perfect and easy to do...but he has taught people in the past so I am sure he would be willing.

Maybe as our days stay lighter longer we could have a clinic followed by a ride at Santiago Oaks...

I would be down for Sundays over Wednesdays, but I will be there this week.

Topics I would find interesting:

- voodoo and rear derailer tuning

- proper animal sacrifices to appease the front derailer gods

- disc brakes are from Mars, riders are from Venus

- 7 habits of highly effective headsets

I would love that! Especially on a Sunday since I live up in LA/North OC... Weekend clinics would be great for those of us who don't live near Orange.

I do have a request for a future clinic. How about focusing on suspension installation and more importantly tuning? Adjusting sag, rebound, compression, correct PSI, oil weights, etc.

That is a great Idea. So many people need maintenance tips.
Bikes will last longer and save you money in repairs. When taken care of properly.

Thank you guys for the great clinic!!! Now I know exactly what to do if I have a mechanical during the VQ--wait for the guy in the black jacket on the motorcycle (Tim)

Actually, learned quite a bit, and it is greatly appreciated! A very heartfelt thanks!!
