We'll be starting from Ridge Park Rd./gate 9 at 3:45ish (coming from SMELL.A.), riding until about 5:30 (the park closes at dusk). There are lots of possible routes, but we'll probably end up in Emerald Canyon and finish with Missing Link/Fenceline. Pace is moderate.

Parking is free on Ridge Park Rd., but there are no "facilities" or informational kiosks (hey, it's Newport, but it's still wilderness).

i'm thinking that the parks (at least lcwp) should be open tomorrow, but regardless the ride will still go on with an alternative trail outside of the park...

i just called laguna. the ranger is checking the trails and they're hoping to open the park by noon...

I will be climbing up from Pavillions. I will possibly see you guys there. Look for a dude on a Red Niner and shout if you see me.
