As of right now I was not planning on riding the 9th, however that could change.

I'll be there on the 9th (tomorrow), coming down form the 310 to ride Fully. I've been off the bike for over a week due to this cold that I can not shake , so an easy spin on the loop will be about enough I think.

Also, yesterday I "wrenched" some new 2008 XTR (complete drive train) on my friends Yeti 575, so this will be a good shake down ride.

Will be at the court house by 8am. The wife on a blue Superlite and me on either a white Ventana, or if I'm feeling like it, my bigger 6" grey/green Ventana.

Anyway, if anyone is around, please stop over and say hi!

I'll be there tomorrow. And if there's going to be other riders I guess I can haul myself out of bed and be there by 8 instead of noon.

Default Sorry guys.

I meant to be there today. Every clock in my house automatically updates for daylight saving time...except my alarm clock. Oh well, I guess I'll try to do a ride later in the evening.

I came there a little bit late, and Chin-yu forgot to set his clock forward, so we just rode with 3 other people and it was pretty fun.

I took some pictures of the yellow flowers right before the lake.

I got out there late, and with my mom in tow no less. She had a good time, and we ran into a few STR'rs. (Stinky, OTHRider and stinky's girlfriend I believe...though I'm about as good with names as a blind person is with seeing.)

It was a good ride, and the scenery was great, see the above pics from lambda.

AND his mom had absolutely no suspension on her bike and still hit a downhill I was too afraid to do (I'm still a beginner)! Let's just say she gave me inspiration/motivation for me to do nearly the rest of the downhills. Also, thank you SOOO much OTHRider for your patience and coaching, the fully loop is MUCH more fun actually riding the downhills than walking down them. Great time today!

I'm trying to convince her to get a new bike as the one she has is at least 13 years old. That bike scares me in many ways, but she's taken it to peters canyon a few times and the loop too so I guess it gets the job done.

A really good ride yesterday. I joined Stinkyrider (Mark) and ohyeah89 (Tara) on the tracks below Sunny Hills H.S. We met up with graves.z (Zach) and his mom at Gus Grissom. Perfect weather and a nice JRA pace. Tara, you did great on the DH - Mark has great advise and a nice bike to soak up the DH bumps.

Nice riding with you both!

  • XCMike [03-10-2008 05:26 PM] - Hi Pugz can you tell me about what time this ride ends at and how many miles you guys do??? Also do you Guys ever do this ride on Saturdays, I have band rehearsal on Sunday's
Mike - The ride is almost 12 miles. We usually finish around 10:00 or 10:30 depending in part if we start on time. This ride is always on Sunday's however if you wanna ride the loop on a Saturday post a ride and you can usually find somebody willing to do a lap or two.

I talked a friend into going on the ride tomorrow, but when I took a look at his bike it was way too small and outdated for him. Would it be possible if someone could bring in an extra bike for my friend to ride, preferably one with platforms? I think I may be able to hook him onto mountain biking the same way I was hooked into mountain biking by another friend.
