If you go to the beach near the pier to the arts and crafts fair, look for a ceramic plate/bowl/cup maker named Jerry Kry, pick up a big colorful coffee mug and tell him the Steele family says hello. (We've purchased all our dishware from him over the years)
I was born in Santa Barbara, grew up in Isla Vista when my dad taught at UCSB back in the late 60's to mid 70's. Great place to live and I would love to retire there someday..... Have a great time!! And bring Julia's black market to ride at the skatepark on the beach - its a good one.

I usually ride with a buddy on Saturdays. If he bails on me then I will show up at 9. I don't ride a vintage bike but I have been called an antique before. Does that count??
