If I can get up early enough I'll be there! Need to stretch my legs before I settle in and watch the Lakers DOMINATE the Jazz.

Today was really fun, and the hills were so much easier now since I took out my tire liners and heavy duty tubes and switched them with regular tubes. I probably lost 2 pounds just from that.

Hey great riding with you guys today! Great times riding, and I'm still feelin' my 4 lb omellette.

Not many mechanicals (at least that I saw), and a beautiful morning and day now! Good to be alive my friends!

And I'm sitting here at my buddy's place in Newport Beach, watching the Lakers POUND the Jazz. OH YEAH CAN YOU FEEEEL THAT?!! CAN YOU!?!?!!!! OOOOHHHH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

It nice to mean some more people. Also nice to see all the wrong turns I made in my solo attempts of the loop.


So the bike is at the Path now to get the derailers worked on. Plus they said that the chain guide is not installed right. I am wondering how they will get it to work since I tried it every way I could and that was the only way it would. So I am bikeless until thursday.

Attention Newbies and Lurkers, this is what you're looking for come sunday morning. Today we took off at 8:30ish and finished a little more than 2 hours later.



and this is why it's a good, fun, social ride. Plenty of stops to chit chat



heck, you may even get your picture taken...




by me!


But when you get here, you'll know it's almost over.


So we take a rest and stop again, prolonging the fun....


but there is one more hill you can try if you dare...






the reward for that hill is some steep downhill, to which these dudes and a few others rolled....





However, shortly after it'll be over after this little section, but it's a good way to end the ride...














Today I know of at least 2 riders that hung with us and asked if they could do so because they had read the posts on here and wondered if they could join.


however, if you go to Heroes afterwards, and someone warns you about the pancakes, listen to them.


I used to love pancakes.

What does a person do when they have all the bikes they need? Purchase another one!!!

It was the inaugural ride for the tandem. Sixty seconds into it- they thought it was a big mistake. By the end of the ride- UPGRADEITIS has already set-in!

I thought (riding a tandem SOLO) wasn't possible. I was proven wrong!

Funny moment of the day: Eating "brunch" at Heroe's with HooverMD, MrsHoover, CrewJones and the rest of the crew. Apparantly she is having a custom bike built.... The guys started talking about the parts "WE" would be putting on her bike! Whenever she tried to give us input, we (i.e. ME) kept asking her not to interrupt our important conversation. All I heard from her was, "..no pink..... purple's OK.... no downhill..." ...Had to be there!
