Looking forward to your newbie ride at Aliso Pugzie.
Looks like Julia's ride at Aliso will began 9:00 - 9:30 am. Not sure about leaving her in the parking lot alone. I'll have to wait for her ride to start. If anyone is willing to start riding 9:00 - 9:30 company will be appreciated. Julia and me will miss all our Sunday Fully Loop friends tomorrow. -Elvia

I wanted to go but I got a call for work in the middle of the night and didn't get back to sleep until 4am and there was not waking up after that.
Man I guess I missed a lot of the loop in my one attempt to find my way around it. I never even saw the area that all those pics are from. |

Despite the heat, it was another fun day out at the loop. It was great seeing everybody again and meeting some new riders. To those that bailed out after the ride, you all missed another eating frenzy at Heroes! BigHit joined us with his two little future STR members. Again, I was in a food coma following; however, that didn't stop me, Zak, and Daniel from hitting the Path afterwards
![]() Pugz, thanks again for organizing these rides! |

i had a good time, even though i wasn't technically with the ride
. My brother and I took off a bit earlier than you guys, since it was his first ride on dirt (and on his new stumpjumper ) he wanted some 1-on-1 time so i could help him out with some details. Good times, he made it to grissom park pretty easily, but took a bit of a digger right before the trail meets back up with rosecrans. We ended up getting a shuttle ride out cause he was tired and had bruised his elbow/shoulder.We were the pathetic looking people chilling in the park on Gilbert and rosecrans waiting for our ride ![]() It was a good day though, first time out on a trail since i broke my finger, restoring much needed sanity. My bro had a good time until his little slip-up, and we gotta watch some guy on a pimped out yeti practically clear that concrete section right before rosecrans ![]() |

Great ride! Nice to see some familiar faces from last week and meeting new ones today. Sorry, I had to bail out on Heroes to check up on the dogs and give them fresh ice water.

I haven't actually seen some of those stunts shown, just one of the other ones after the tunnel. These appear to be made with the same lack of quality. As some of you know, I'm all for building stuff and doing stunts and stuff, but based on the quality I've seen, for the safety of all fellow Fullerton Loopers, I almost want to say that I wish the someone or the city would tear that stuff down.
Actually, I said it. If they were better built, my tune would be different, but until that time, someone should tear that crap down!

Agreed lee, the risk of riding stuff that is well built is enough. But when poorly built; it is a bad accident waiting to happen. I would hate to see the area shut down due to this fact. Not to mention Im sure the city will have some harsh repercussions if anyone is injured riding these without building permits.I was thinking about going down to improve them, but I thought it better to discourage them being built without the proper permits.

there is potential in those stunts from what I've seen, but the execution is poor. a few extra 2x4's would make things much better.
And don't worry, we'll probably be joining in on a fair few loop ride in the future, at least until i get my conditioning back, and my brother and his GF get used to biking (and are comfortable with the terrain on the loop) |

I should also add that a few weeks ago on the other stunt (not shown) I saw not only loose planks, but planks that had fallen off - some these planks had very long nails or screws (didn't stop to check) facing straight up! Some of these planks were apparently loose and turned over on the stunt, and some were on the ground nearby. With the nails straight up! After riding it, I had to yell out to others to try and prevent them from riding it. It really could have killed someone.
