Just go word from the Mrs we have no plans this Sunday. In all my years of riding I can proudly say I have never riddin' "The Loop" but that will change.
Just be aware that I am a sloooow man climbing. Kinda like the packed down semis you see on the Grapevine. ![]() ![]()

Enjoy the ride!

Would you recommend me using my 50oz or 100oz bladder? The 50oz has it's own pack, Hydrobak. The 100oz is by itself because I use it with my larger hiking pack. I guess it all comes down to how much I might be drinking or tossing the 100oz bladder into a sack pictured below.

I use (1) water bottlefor the entire loop!
Some drink more water.... some less! Truth be told, bring whichever you feel more comfortable carrying! See you on Sunday...

We may have a guest join us. I've been riding on and off with him since 1993/4ish when we first rode the loop on mountain bikes. After a couple years off the bike, he's finally getting back on it. He just got the frame back from getting refinished (hint: in a color that only the factory Intense/Chainreaction team has). I'll just say that it'll likely be the trickest looking bike out there.

Damnit, you weren't supposed to tell anyone. I was gonna get drunk in piece.
![]() But since you did I ride 18" on most bikes And I could use a new wheel set for the Kona, just in case anyone was wondering. ![]()

Lee - Julia would like to know if your serious about the 4X bike at the loop. Julia rode it at Peters and was fine with one brake and singlespeeding.
Julia is concerned because there are much more hills at Fully. Mom for Julia12

I think she would be fine eliva, climbs are gonna be harder, but I rarely use the front brake at the loop. If it is an issue ;she can take the DH stuff a little slower. She will Learn brake modulation at the same time.
Just my 2 cents.
