I hear you.. my dad has invited us to Tahoe and now Mammoth for free lodging, but we can't afford the lift tickets, and we need the time on the bikes!

Doh!! Oh man I'd like to go again this time, but I'm running a 1/2 marathon in HB on Sunday morning, and I can't risk tiredness/injury the day before... I've been training a lot for this event, plus there are some women going that I want to impress with my stamina

I'll have to ride this with you guys on the "third invasion"

Have fun out there!

I might be able to make it. Is "dead cow" the first drop in to sullivan canyon off of westridge (also known as "widow maker")?

Also, with all the rain we got, sulli-canyon creek should be flowing pretty good. Be prepared to get wet & muddy.

No one will join to me for "Widow Maker"

No mud in Sullivan Canyon, even if it's flooded.

It’s the first trail on left in westridge fire road. Its goes all the way down to the canyon (at the first one third).
It does locate about 100 yard above the Westridge gate.

DANG!!(being polite) I'm pretty sure I'm going to my mom's. Like, I am going..I think.
Why are these always set up a few days before the week-end?

What is Dead Cow trail? Is it J-Drop?

Dead Cow/Westridge drop goes from Westridge down to Sully Canyon.

Widowmaker drops down from Farmers to dirt Mulholland it is steep, rutted and nasty.

J-Drop runs from Backbone to Rustic Canyon.

If anyone wants to ride the J-Drop loop sometime shoot me an email.
