Pugz and I will be doing a casual lap around Aliso Woods.

Route: up Cholla, to the top of the world, down Meadows to the fire road and back to the cars. I am open to other routes and we can change if the group would like to.

Where and When: Meet at Canyon View Park aka "MILF" Park and be ready to roll out by 12:30pm

I headed over to Aliso for my lunchtime experess ride from CV park up to Top of World.. Ran into Pugz and Slahsusc at milf park... hung with them to TOW. Pugz is no longer an Aliso virgin...

I also ran into Pugz and Slahsusc, Pugz was smiling and I didn't notice any sweat. He didn't look like an Aliso virgin to me, I heard he made it half way up Cholla.

You should have seen him sweatin half way up Cholla. LOL.. we've all been there.. that hill is a killer... it doesnt help to start at CV park.. no warmup and then vert! Props to Pugz for venturing out beyond fully loop.. He now has good idea of what some hills are like. Next you will see him on San Juan..

Pugz, Keep hammering bro.. it only gets easier.. stay consistent and stick to the healthy food..

Spoke with Pugzie last evening!
First thing he told me: It was fun! Second thing: Something about needing to hit new dirt! Cough... more challenging... cough!

What he was really trying to tell me: He wants to re-visit the trail that started his biking love affair- Carbon Canyon! He VOMITED twice on that ride! I believe he wants to prove something to himself. Brewmaster... Coleko.... Anyone? Care to join us one Saturday?

I was thinking more along the lines of....

Starting at the Carbon Canyon Parking lot
Up Northridge to the picnic tables
Telegraph down to Southridge
Southridge back to the picnic tables
Might thrown in Northridge again

What does not KILL him shall only make him stronger!

Are you talking about Southridge to the ranch house? If so instead of Southridge down take Raptor Canyon to the ranch house(much better trail),Southridge to Telegraph to picnic benches,up Bovinian singletrack to Southridge and back to the Cabon Canyon.Should be about a 20-22 mile ride.
