Default Is Chino Closed?

heard that it was so can anyone out there confirm?

a few of us wanted to ride there tomorrow morning @ 7am (if u want to join).

here's the directions in case anyone wants to join

from the 57, take the lambert exit towards chino hills s.p./carbon canyon park. make a right turn on valencia. then, make a left of rose (it is the first light, sign will say rose/birch). go down rose and make a right at vesuvius. you can park on the right or left side.

from there, we can start our ride and cut thru the carbon canyon parking lot.

Phone is 951-780-6222 - give a call.
Seems to me that's on that closes during wind events & elevated fire danger, so maybe ???

It's wide open. I might run into you in the park Jose. I am going to try to ride this morning. Parts of Telegraph are still wet, but not bad.

I thought I might see you out there. I agree, primo conditions. I felt like shiat but it was really gorgeous today.
Green hills followed by purple mountains capped with snow followed by crystal blue sky. Sweet singletrack too.
Raptor was the best I have ever seen it.

thanks for the company jose....awesome to finally ride with you.

we rode northridge to 4-corners. from there raptor, up heart attack to bane ridge st to the equestrian area. from there we rode south up scully, around and down lower aliso. telegraph back thru 4 corners and back to carbon canyon.

i am going to try this same ride but add some east fenceline amd southridge to it...maybe new weekend.

oh....and thanks to Joe and Garry for riding with us and guiding us. Garry is a roadie that is signed up for the breathless agony. i will be seeing Joe at the Julian 7500!

chino hills is great right now....all the st is awesome and the park is looking green and great!

i need to get a ride that connects chino to coal canyon. that would be a great monster ride.

cheers!

you conect chino to coal canyon easy enough you just ride aliso to the golf course road then over to the bike path sounds like way to much pain for me

How about starting at Green River? Assuming that it doesn't rain, I'm in!

PS-You guys climbed Telegraph back instead of Southridge? Bleah!

yup... go down scully ridge OR Lower aliso behind the golfcourse. Ride west... Thru the golfcourse lot, and the bike trail TO coal canyon is on your right when it hits green river.

about 2 miles of road riding to get to coal from lower aliso

I was there today too with some friends and yes, the green carpet is beautiful. I love this park, just need to ride it more often to get more familiar with the trails. Rode up northridge for the first time and down Sycamore a couple times. My legs feel like rubber - I love it!
