SCST Huckers?

During the STR ride a couple Thursdays ago Steve (Team Smitty) and Tony (Mr Hobbs) told me about some uncompleted jumps that someone had built. I decided to ride over and check them out today.



I liked the through the trees look on the approach on this one...


...but there is nowhere to go.


This gives you a better idea of what still needs to be cleared.

This is the approach on the other jump.


This shot makes this jump look tame compared to what is there. The run out is really steep, too steep to scrub whatever speed you have once you land, and goes down for a couple hundred yards.


These are some pretty crazy drops. To add to the difficulty there are numerous large rocks in the landing paths as well.

holy base jump...i will give the nutty builders the benefit of the doubt and say it's not complete yet...yah that's it.

I normaly go up these, being a SSer and all.
They were built a long time ago...so I imagine the completion date has long been forgoton.
