Time to attach Chino Hills SP's East Side!!
When: Monday, January 21, 2008 Where: Chino Hills State Park Time: 8am Distance: Usually 12-15 miles, but depends on the route. What to Expect: Fire roads, single track, minor DH, relatively long climbs. Trails: A cornucopia of options. Aliso Canyon, Scully Ridge, Bane Ridge... The options are practically endless. Ride Leader: RD Mzungu137 (Randall) Directions: From the 60... Take 71 south to Central Ave/Soquel Canyon. Exit Central/Soquel Canyon Turn Right on Soquel Canyon heading West. Turn Left on Elinvar St. and go to the top of the road. The fire road entrance in just around the corner at the top of the hill. Park anywhere on Elinvar or on the park side of Sapphire. From the 91... Take 71 North to Central Ave/Soquel Canyon. Exit Central/Soquel Canyon Turn Left on Soquel Canyon heading West. Turn Left on Elinvar St. and go to the top of the road. The fire road entrance in just around the corner at the top of the hill. Park anywhere on Elinvar or on the park side of Sapphire. Note: no fees to park. This is more of a XC ride than DH. The level is a low intermediate. PM me if you need any more info. SEE Ya there!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

Oops - too bad I didn't see this sooner. KonaDupee & I rode the west half this morning (North Ridge > Bovinian > South Ridge). Would have been nice to get into the trails less trodden on the east side.Hope you guys got your ride in before the rains. We caught a few light showers, but nothing problematic.
