Aliso woods first time

Happy friday to all.... I'm planning to try aliso woods park for the first time this weekend. Does anyone have a recommended route for a newbie/beginner?

It's 9 miles of fire trail without any really steep hills.

Shoot a PM to Foofighter. He hosts a weekly ride at Aliso most Saturdays. The pace is casual and the route changes depending on what people feel like riding.

If Foo's not gonna make it, try a PM to Donny (Devoid169).

Here's the link to his ride. I rode with Duan on my first ride at Aliso. They all made me feel welcome and I had a great time.

hey garys we are having a ride this saturday and we're rolling off at 8 so you might want to get there a bit early. moving out from MILF park aka canyon view park most of us will be on singlespeeds so the pace will be perfect for you (nice and slow ). Come on out and join us. we'll go up cholla to get the ol ticker pumping and then along the ridge to top of the world and maybe down meadows?

Sometimes I prefer to park in the hood at the top of the Cholla trail aka MILF Avenue. Dude seriously there are insane hot MILF's that live there.

Note: No offense to those if you live in/around/on that street. You are a stud, my idol, and everyone's hero.

nice- don't you live at the cholla end?

if you roll at 7, you could get up cholla, down lynx and back to the park by 745- even with a stop or two up cholla (trust me)

I was mentioning to Foo that the I'm slow race, up chuck, or whoever falls down "first" will win the a pair of golden training wheels.

then again, it was years ago and i was on a brand new ss and new to ss at the time...

Why, are you shuttling? I'd join ya guys, but I have Trail work tomorrow. Good day to ride, but this trail work got cancelled last week because of rain and now we're behind.
