Any mtb clubs in san dimas area ?

Hi guys, I'm just getting back to mtb'ing. Got my bike last week and was hoping to hook up with some locals here. I know there's a night ride on monday's at inncycle but im still at work during that time 6pm.

I did see a lot of people going to fullerton for a thursday ride, however i don't have a bike rack and I don't think the bike will fit in the car . Will it fit if i remove the tires maybe? I have an accord coupe btw.

I keep see'ing the bonneli park as the closest from where I live, Does anybody ride it during the weekends? I mean as a group? Its my first time going so I don't want to get lost or anything .

I also don't have lights yet, so this might be another thing I'd need if i go night biking..

Yeah you'll need a light if you go biking. Do your seats in the accord fold down? Get creative and you might get it to fit (with the front wheel off). I have an '01 celica hatchback and I get it to fit, although the hatch helps out. If that doesnt work then you'll need a rack. I know Epic Mtn Biker on here rides Bonelli and he does that incycle ride Monday nights too.

Thanks, i might try fitting it on the trunk.. I got the specialized hardrock, inncycle had a good deal with their 05's.

I'm sure you'll get it to fit in an Accord, I have a Civic coupe and with the seats folded down I can fit any of my bikes in there with the front wheel off......and my downhill bike requires both wheels off.

There's SC Velo which is mostly a road team. We just formed a mtb team and im part of that. We sometimes do rides at bonelli during the weekends for training. Ill let you know if we're doing one soon. Now everyone is getting ready for the race this saturday.

If you want to travel to tustin this weekend (Sun), you can hook up with a large group for the Bikes and Beer Ride. There was a post about in sometime last week. For sure im planning on going to that. We'll be riding Santiago Oaks.

we do night riding on monday nights at 6 pm from the INcycle bike shop in San Dimas. you're more than welcome to join us, we do ride thatr vary from easy to very difficult. we either ride to Bonelli County Park or Marshall Canyon, depending on rider ability.

I'd like to go with you guys, but i dont have headlights yet. I was looking at the cygolite. The one i wanted is the 16w which is 100bucks. Still pricey for a light especially when you are just starting but well see....

If you know of a better brand or cheaper also letme know.
