Hey, beggars can't be choosers. I'm sure it'll be just fine. Thanks, Elvia.

I won't be able to make it tomorrow...AGAIN.

I was riding today, and when I down shifted in the rear, the chain must have cought on something, then when I looked back I saw that the dérailleur hanger broke AGAIN, plus the dérailleur got bent pretty badly and I'll probably have to replace it.

Now I'm starting to understand why everyone likes to make fun of Iron Horse...

I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky, or if its the bike, but it seems like I have to replace of repair something new on my bike EVERY week. Its starting to make me hate my bike a little...

Sounds like the derailer was out of adjustment and hit the wheel , not the horses fault

I'll let you be the judge of that, but let's just say I haven't had many complaints...

I'm sure we could round up a loaner bike for you tomorrow. I have ODB's large Iron Horse Hollowpoint in my garage if he wants to loan it out. I may also have a spare medium full suspension bike of my own to loan if my new ride arrives on time tomorrow.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? We'll find something.

Why do you say that?

While I think a singlespeed would be cool, the Fully loop is already tough enough for me, how much harder will it be on a single speed?

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think I'll be able to get a ride tomorrow, you see, I usually just ride to the trail because I don't live very far, about 5 miles, but I guess I can't now.

Just in case I somehow get a ride there tomorrow,

I'm about 5'10" and I weigh 160lb.

Shoot, 5 miles ain't far to pick you up. My FS Ibex would fit you, but I don't know if my new ride will be available by tomorrow. I'll let you know tomorrow. Anyone else have a more reliable loaner?

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it.

Danny, It's Harald, you were pretty close though. How small is the small bike and how big is the big bike?

Sorry its been awhile.
By big I mean my bighit, an 8" travel bike with platforms (43 lbs). The bike is heavy. But i will gladly ride it. My other bike is 5 inches travel. I think the candy pedals I have on the small bike are spd compatible, so you're shoes( i think I saw spds the last time we rode) should work if you want to ride that one.Wheres the pics you took from the first loop ride????

I've got crank bros Candy C pedals on my bike so my shoes should be fine, and five inches of travel is plenty enough for me.

and about those pictures, most of them didn't come out so good, but you remember these girls don't you?
